Ten-year ipsilateral breast recurrence, OS, and BC-specific survival were not statistically different. The APBI arm showed significantly less acute and late toxicity with improved cosmetic outcomes.

Equivalency for ten-year ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence was not met although the absolute difference at ten years was 0.7%.
