Abstract

AbstractThis research focuses on extensible structures composed of rods and nodes, which have been developed since the mid-twentieth century. A geometric, mathematical, and graphical analysis of simple double-rod scissor structures, and then investigates the three-rod and node structures of architect E. P. Piñero, using digital and parametric modeling.
