1. Scanlon, K., Laux, L., and Overend, J.,Appl. Spectros., 33 (1979)346, reports the intensity for V2 of C02 as a suggested calibration standard. We have recently measured this intensity in our laboratory and our value agrees with Scanlon, Laux and Overend within 2% (unpublished results from J.D. Rogers, S. Goldman, B. Rub, and W.B. Person).
