One of the most recent trials demonstrating superiority of IVUS-guided PCI as compared to angiography-guided PCI among patients undergoing complex PCI. This trial demonstrated among patients undergoing complex PCI, the use of IVUS was associated with lower composite of cardiac death, target vessel related myocardial infarction, and target vessel revascularization.
