1. The generally accepted criterion of a cancer cure is the absence of any of the symptoms of the disease for a minimum period of five years. After this period of time there is little likelihood of a recurrence. Chemotherapeutic ‘cures’ of choriocarcinoma with Methotrexate have been described [2].
