Abstract
AbstractThe OPD-Scan III is a multiple-instrument device combining corneal topography, wavefront aberrometry, autorefraction, keratometry, pupillometry, and pupillography. The measurement of topography and whole eye wavefront allows separation of corneal and internal aberrations for rapid assessment of the refractive and optical effects of the cornea, physiologic lens, or an intraocular lens. The Daya Cataract Summary, the Cataract Summary, the Optical Quality summary, the Internal OPD, toric summary, and retroillumination maps are described. The AL-Scan optical biometry is an optical biometer based on partial coherence interferometry. It also features Scheimflug imaging, which is used to measure corneal thickness and anterior chamber depth.
