1. Interviews have been undertaken with people in the following organisations:
2. (I1) Public Health—commission safe accommodation and a domestic abuse outreach service. They also provide system wide strategic coordination.
3. (I2) Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC)—The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) has the responsibility for specialist support for victims of crime and as such commissions the countywide Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service for high-risk domestic abuse victims as well as Victim Care (VC) available for any victim of crime. The OPCC also provides strategic direction on policy for the constabulary.
4. (I3) Police—Responsibility for emergency response and investigating domestic abuse associated crimes but have a highly trained, dedicated team to support victims. They are also an active member of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) as well as leading the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process.
5. (I4) Safeguarding—Statutory responsibilities to safeguard adults.
