Abstract
AbstractThe issues surrounding the teaching profession were also often addressed as causes in themselves. Two issues dominated: teacher training and teacher status and salary. Training for all teachers in higher education institutions was consensual, as was education science, including child psychology, as a reference discipline. The place of national or international orientation in teacher education caused the members of the conference to clash. The conferences steadily advocated for better status and salaries for the teachers, introducing a comparison with other professions with high-level qualifications.
