Abstract

AbstractIn developed countries, four out of five children with cancer get cured, but in developing countries, the situation is the opposite. Armenia, being among the low- and middle-income countries, currently has survival rates of pediatric cancer close to the high-income countries.In this chapter, I summarized the achievements and challenges of generations of pediatric hematologists/oncologists and nurses in Armenia, who made this development happen.
