1. G. Gidal, G. Borreani, D. Grether, F. Lott, R. W. Birge, S. Y. Fung, W. Jackson andR. Poe:Phys. Rev. Lett.,23, 994 (1969). This experiment was carried out at six different momenta: 2.67, 2.95, 3.20, 3.53, 3.74 and 4.08 GeV/c. For a Reggepole fit the average of momentum from 2.95 to 4.08 GeV/c was 3.4 GeV/c (G. Gidal: private communication). The differential cross-section and matrix density element data published for these five energies are averaged.
2. Aachen-Berlin-Birmingham-Bonn-Hamburg-London-München Collaboration:Nuovo Cimento,34, 495 (1964). The values of dσ/dt used are the ones from this reference multiplied by a factor 1.13 (3). Theρ ij data are found in ref.(3).
