EFFECTIVENESS OF CONVENTIONAL THERAPY ON GOLDSMITH WORKERS WITH NECK PAIN– AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY

Abstract

Goldsmith workers are used to work for long time with cross legged posture, they may lead to develop different kinds of musculoskeletal disorder among them. The study aimed to nd the effectiveness of conventional therapy on Gol AIM: - Objective: dsmith workers with neck pain. To provide benets and improve the working pattern, ergonomics, strength, posture and overall condition of Goldsmith workers. An Study Design: - Experimental In 4 weeks of intervention; 30participants with features of neck pai Methods:- n were studied. They will be collected by Study convenience sampling. They were received conventional exercises program. The outcome was measured using the Numerical Pain rating scale (NPRS) & the Neck Disability index (NDI). Pre and post data were collected and analyzed using SPSS 22.0. Paired t - test was used to nd out the signicance of the treatment. A signicant improvement in pain & disabil Result: - ity (p<0.05) after the treatment was found. Greater statistically signicant improvement was seen in all the participants.
