Abstract
Myopathies are a diverse group of disorders that primarily affect the structure, metabolism, or channel function of
skeletal muscles. They typically exhibit muscular weakness that interferes with daily activities. Motor dysfunction
without any sensory complaints is a common feature of myopathies.
