A New Era ın Volleyball: Snow Volleyball

Abstract

Volleyball is one of the sports branches where talent, effort and creativity are shown in the best way. Since the birth of volleyball, athletes have had the opportunity to influence the audience and fans by applying the basic features of volleyball on the field. In this direction, the image of volleyball draws a rising graph day by day. It is known that it continues its development in the fields of volleyball, beach and snow volleyball, which achieved significant success especially in the hall. Many organizations organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) play an effective role in the development of snow volleyball. Turkey, which hosts snow volleyball organizations, is seen as one of the leading countries in the development of snow volleyball with the organizations of the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF). It is thought that snow volleyball has become the focus of attention day by day with the demand and success of many athletes in Turkey. It is predicted that snow volleyball, which is a new trend in this regard, is one of the promising sports branches. The aim of this study is to examine the history, development and organizations of snow volleyball.
