Abstract
I am uncomfortable with the narrow scope laid out for applied anthropology. I intend to use Eddy and Partridge's introduction to their edited volume Applied Anthropology in America (Columbia 1978) as my point of departure. I do so in a spirit of respect; to take a lesser work would be inappropriate.
