Abstract
Abstract
Nepal had an armed conflict (1996–2006) between the Government of Nepal and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and continues to be a country struggling with fundamental social and political change. The armed conflict resulted in more than 1,400 cases of enforced disappearances, and families of the disappeared demand that every case is resolved in accordance with their needs and desires. In this article, three victim-activists in Nepal explore victim-centric, victim-led, family-based solutions to ongoing struggles regarding transitional justice in Nepal.
