Abstract
In recent years the solar cells have experienced a rapid development. Due to this shift in application area, the cells performances are becoming increasingly important issues to be solved. In laboratory tests, a Swiss-American research team demonstrated that the solar cell could convert direct sunlight into electricity at 29.8% efficiency. A good price-performance ratio is the key for the future production.
