Abstract
Objective: Compassion fatigue is also defined as a physical, emotional, and mental decrease in working capacity together with burnout. This study was done to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic period upon nurses’ compassion fatigue. Materials and methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was done with 73 nurses between the 30th of January and the 28th of February, 2021. The data were gathered using an information request form developed in line with the literature and Compassion Fatigue Scale- Short Form.
