Abstract
The passing of Dr. Arnold Lazarow on June 26 was a loss to the science of diabetology. Dr. Lazarow, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy, University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Minneapolis, was Codirector of the Twelfth Research Symposium of the American Diabetes Association and Chairman of one of the three sessions. As a tribute to him, the Association herewith presents a summary of the Symposium.
