Abstract
This paper taking the Duffing system with nonlinear soft stiffness as an example, discusses the possibility of applying the chaotic phenomenon to get a broadband frequency output for a single frequency input. Thereby proves the application value of controlling chaos in the waterborne-noise confrontation.
