Abstract
A method is described to measure the crease-recovery angles of single filaments and yams. The specimen, after creas ing, is allowed to recover freely and the angle is measured using a travelling microscope fitted with a protractor and a pointer. Nylon and polyester filaments as well as yarns extracted from cotton fabrics treated with various crosslinking agents were studied.
