Rapid Hairline Sculpting with Integrated Line Grafting and Single-Hair Grafting Techniques

Abstract

Only in recent years has the attention of hair-replacement surgery moved from producing as much hair as possible to producing the most natural-looking results. A consistent natural result has been attained by modifying the size and shape of the hair-bearing autograft. The author describes an alternative graft morphology, and reports on the results of using this technique in 2507 patients. The results indicate that a natural-looking cosmetic result can be attained in as few as three procedures, with an overall complication rate of 1.0%.
