Abstract
The need for laryngoscopy aboard a spacecraft on a mission of one to three years is anticipated. Therefore, the inexperience of the potential endoscopists and the problems they face in the free-floating environment of space are considered. A simplified coaxial intubation technique employing a split-apart modification cf a Jako-type laryngoscope is suggested.
