1. Laura W. Arnoldis assistant professor of political science at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her research interests include congressional careers, committees, historical perspectives on Congress, and presidential-congressional relations. Her research has appeared in The American Political Science Review and American Politics Quarterly.
2. Rebecca E. Deenis assistant professor of political science at the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition to her work on legislatures, she conducts research on gender politics and the American presidency. Her research has appeared in State and Local Government Review.
3. Samuel C. Pattersonis professor of politics in the Department of Political Science at Ohio State University. His research and teaching interests include parliamentary and legislative institutions, legislative behavior, political representation, subnational politics, political elites, and political leadership. He is coeditor of Great Theatre: The American Congress in the 1990s (Cambridge University Press 1998).
