Reentry among Missionary Children: An Overview of Reentry Research from 1934–1986

Abstract

An overview of 30 studies on missionary children was performed. A summary was made of 34 features across these studies. Due to a large number of features being coded as indeterminate, only a limited analysis of effects was possible. An effect was the statistical relationship between mission variables (i.e., on-the-field) and outcome variables (i.e., reentry information). Several recommendations are made for future research.
