Abstract
In the continuing search for new perspectives on organizational strategy, time has been one of the most frequently mentioned but least research dimensions. This paper defines a concept of strategic time based on events rather than the clock. It discusses the implication of strategic time for effective definition of the organization's purpose, strategic analysis, strategy design, and strategy implementation and control.
