According to the author of the article, such a factor as a long journey has a multifactorial significance. The purpose of this article is to review the various forms of influence of long-term travel on the psyche of an individual. The scientific significance lies in the fact that against the background of active development of technical means and increasing mobility of the population, the topic of mutual influence of long-term travel and psyche has not been practically covered in Russian. Thus, with timely detection of clinical signs of mental disorders, it is possible to take a number of preventive measures to reduce the possible consequences, both for the individual and for those social groups to which he belongs. When writing the work, the following scientific methods were used: general theoretical, analysis and synthesis, historical-logical, inductive-deductive. This paper analyzed the available scientific publications, theoretical works, clinical and general educational manuals. The value of the study lies in the fact that traveling and psyche are considered in mutual influence. Therefore, practical recommendations for prevention should also take into account this mutual influence.
