1. Nasir Baig RB received his PhD from the Indian Institue of Science, Bangalore, India, with S Chandrasekaran. He worked on bucky bowls with H Sakurai as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Molecular Science, Okazaki, Japan. Presently he is working on greener synthetic methods for bioactive compounds and on nanocatalysis with RS Varma as an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (TN, USA) postdoctoral fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency (Washington, DC, USA).
2. Rajender S Varma, formerly a faculty at Baylor College of Medicine (TX, USA) and Sam Houston State University (TX, USA), is a senior scientist at the US Environmental Protection Agency. Lately, his research is focused on eco-friendlier syntheses using microwaves and ultrasound, greener approaches to nanomaterials and sustainable applications of magnetically retrievable nanocatalysts, with approximately 370 scientific papers and 12 US Patents.
