Abstract
Abstract
The ultrafast evolution of cavity modes in a ZnSe film on a metal (Cr, Cu, or Ni) is studied by femtosecond pump/supercontinuum-probe spectroscopy on a time scale of several tens of femtoseconds. Femtosecond excitation of a microcavity in a ZnSe film on a metal substrate leads to a change in the parameters of cavity (Fabry – Perot) modes. The cavity-mode frequency shifts are due to the photoinduced changes in the boundary conditions and the optical thickness of microcavity.
