ASSESSMENT OF RADIOACTIVE AND CHEMICAL IMPURITIES IN PERTECHNETATE PRODUCED BY PHOTONUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The results of the release of 99Mo of molybdenum foil irradiated at LAE with E = 22 MeV and I = 700 μA are presented. The technology of electrolytic deposition 99mTc with its subsequent conversion into a radiopharmaceutical – pertechnetate is considered. The content of chemical and radionuclide impurities in pertechnetate was monitored, as well as testing of the radiopharmaceutical with various carriers for the diagnosis of animal organs.
