Abstract

A nonrelativistic equation of state (EOS) of supernova matter is calculated within a fully self-consistent model at finite temperature with a realistic interaction for lepton fractions yl = 0.3 and 0.4. Isothermal EOS is converted to isentropic EOS. Rise in temperature with densities are studied at adiabates S = 1.0 and 1.5. A comparison of isothermal and isentropic generation of pressure is made. Variation of pressure with temperature at different adiabates is discussed.
