GAUGE INDEPENDENCE OF THE HOT A0-CONDENSATE

Abstract

The problem of gauge dependence of the zero gauge field component condensate, A0 = const ., in the framework of finite temperature SU(2) gluodynamics is investigated. In straightforward calculations it is shown that the two-loop effective action W (A0, ξ) satisfies the generalized Nielsen identity. Thus, the gauge invariance of the A0-condensation is proved.
