Abstract

The authors developed a comprehensive approach to pricing analytics for rotable spare parts (i.e., parts that can be repaired and resold repeatedly). They describe a large-scale implementation of their approach, which resulted in a profit improvement of more than 3.9% over a 10-month period for their industry partner, a major aircraft manufacturer.
