Abstract

Abstract This chapter summarises and consolidates the book's main points and presents an overall philosophical outlook on the nature of psychedelic experiences and the interventions that bring them about. These include: the novel explications of psychedelic experience and mindfulness in terms of the framework of psychedelic space, the unified account of psychedelics and meditation in terms of attention, the task of empirically testing the hypothesis that psychedelics induce psychedelic experiences, the relationship between psychedelic experiences and mindfulness, and the role that psychedelic experiences can play in philosophical methodology.
