Abstract

The effect of chemical and physical effects on the viscosity of heavy oil has been experimentally investigated in the work. The effect of the addition of a reagent on the viscosity of heavy oil, as well as the effect of microwave exposure under different modes on the effectiveness of reducing the viscosity has been established. The effectiveness of the joint physical and chemical action for reducing the viscosity of heavy oil is shown.
