Abstract

✓ The symptoms, signs, and treatment of 19 patients with carotid-ophthalmic aneurysms are reviewed and the related surgical anatomy discussed. The importance of good oblique angiograms and the hazards of craniotomy are emphasized. Common carotid ligation is recommended as the treatment of choice.
