Abstract

By the method of computer simulation of the bottom echo in the transition field of the normal probe, calculations of frequency spectra and pulses for distances equal to 1 and 2 near field of the probe with a nominal frequency of 1.8 and 2.5 MHz were carried out. Calculations were carried out using the spectral density of the function describing the change in the complex amplitude of the bottom echo to the boundary of the near field of the probe. It is found that the change in the amplitude of the pulses at the maximum of the envelope for these distances varies almost the same as in the DGS-diagram of the bottom echo, while the difference in pulse shapes is not very significant. The results of the experiments generally confirmed the results of calculations taking into account the error of the initial data and the features of computer modeling.
