Sol Gel Dip Coated Indium Oxide Films and Their Properties

Abstract

Indium oxide films were deposited by the sol gel dip coating technique using Acrylamide route. The films were post heat treated in air at different temperatures in the range of 350 - 500åC for different durations in the range of 15 min to 90 min.The films possessed grain size in the range of 7 - 20 nm. The band gap of the films is in the range of 3.73 to 3.82 eV. The films had high transmission in the range of 86 to 88 %. The charge carrier density was around 1020 cm-3.
