Abstract
The Bi doped borosilicate glass systems with low characteristic temperature and high refractive index were fabricated. Through microstructure control by Bi and Zn doping, a low softening point around 476oC of the glass was achieved. The YAG phosphor was successfully embedded and dispersed into the softened glass substrate under heat treatment. The emission light of GCP sample can be controlled from blue to white and yellow under LED blue chip package through heat treatment.
