Abstract
Single-phase LaNi0.6Fe0.4O3-δ and multiphase powder with nominal composition LaNi0.8Fe0.2O3 were prepared by solid state reactions method from initial simple oxides. It was shown that the conductivity of LaNi0.6Fe0.4O3-δ is 2-3 times higher in comparison with LaNi0.8Fe0.2O3 at comparable conditions. Opposite to multiphase ceramics, LaNi0.6Fe0.4O3-δ shows reversible behaviour during heating-cooling treatments up to 800-1000 °C in air and Ar/O2 gas flows at oxygen partial pressure 1-21000 Pa and can be recommended as cathode material for intermediate temperature SOFC.
