Screening and Properties of New Materials for MCFC Application

Abstract

A synthetic screening is given on interesting materials, dopants and protective coatings allowing a better control of the corrosion in MCFC systems and the optimization of their lifetime. After outlining the interest of MCFC systems with respect to other fuel cell devices, an analysis of the recent literature is given on electrolyte, cathode, anode and interconnection plate materials.
