Abstract
The main focus of the present work is to study heat and mass transfer on 3-D flow of nanofluid over a stretching sheet which is extended non-linearly in two sidewise directions. The governing equations of the problem are made dimensionless by using non-dimensional transformations and the problem is solved numerically using Matlab solver bvp4c. The temperature and concentration distributions of the fluid is determined for both linear stretching as well as non-linear stretching of the sheet for important parameters affecting the problem in graphical form and it is found that the rise in fluid temperature is always low for non-linear stretched sheet as compared to the linear one. Values of Nusselt number as well as Sherwood number are also computed to study the thermal as well as mass transfer phenomena. The numerical accuracy has also been presented by comparing the present result with existing published work.
