KOMUNIKASI SEBAGAI PENYEBAB DAN SOLUSI KONFLIK SOSIAL

Abstract

Communication is an important element in social life. Although communication often leads to social conflict, but its settlement through communication as well. What communication is the cause of the conflict, and what kind of communication is the solution to the conflict, and what are the dominant elements of communication required to achieve harmony in competition?. The purpose of the three permaslah assessment is expected to find information that is expected to be useful to predict the effect of communication that will occur when implementing communications in various fields of life, both local and global. Through literature study methods from various writings from books, articles, and other scientific papers, obtained various information as an analysis of the causes and solutions of social conflicts and the dominant elements needed in communicating. Communication that is based on personal and group ambitions can foster various biases, inconsistencies that lead to misunderstanding, misinterpretation and miscommunication. Inconsistent causes the growth of social conflict both horizontal and vertical. Consistent communication on the values of togetherness brings peace and at the same time  ecomes a solution to social conflict. Komunikasi merupakan unsur penting dalam kehidupan sosial. Meskipun komunikasi sering menimbulkan konflik sosial, tetapi penyelesaianya pun melalui komunikasi juga. Komunikasi yang bagaimana yang menjadi penyebab konflik, dan komunikasi yang bagaimana yang menjadi solusi konflik, serta unsur dominan apa yang dibutuhkan komunikasi agar dapat mencapai kehamonian dalam persaingan? Tujuan dari kajian tiga permasalahan tersebut diharapkan dapat menemukan informasi yang diharapkan dapat berguna untuk memrediksi efek komunikasi yang akan terjadi ketika melaksanakan komunikasi di berbagai lapangan kehidupan, baik lokal maupun global. Melalui metode studi literatur dari berbagai tulisan, baik dari buku, artikel, maupun tulisan ilmiah lainnya, diperoleh berbagai informasi sebagai bahan analisis penyebab dan solusi dari konflik sosial  serta unsur dominan yang dibutuhkan dalam berkomunikasi. Komunikasi yang banyak disandarkan kepada ambisi pribadi dan kelompok dapat menumbuhkan berbagai bias, sifat inkonsisten yang mengakibatkan salah pengertian, salah interpretasi, dan salah berkomunikasi.  Inkonsisten menyebabkan tumbuhnya konflik sosial, baik bersifat horizontal maupun vertikal. Komunikasi yang konsisten pada nilai-nilai kebersamaan menumbuhkan kedamaian dan sekaligus menjadi solusi bagi konflik sosial.
