Abstract
A 70-year-old man presented to the hospital with a history of progressive cognitive decline, and shortly after admission he developed sudden neurologic deterioration leading to coma. CT revealed multiple contrast-enhancing lesions within the cerebral hemispheres and midbrain tectum. Autopsy revealed a left occipital glioblastoma associated with widespread meningeal dissemination of tumor, occlusive vasculopathy, and multifocal infarcts.NEUROLOGY 1996;46: 1760-1762
