The concept of a regional land monitoring system for the purpose of spatial development of urbanized territories

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of approaches to the tools of the regional land monitoring system of urbanized territories (hereinafter referred to as LMSUT). In the article, the author briefly discusses the origin of the term "spatial development of urbanized territories". In the process of research the author proposed an organizational and management system of the regional system of land monitoring of the regional system of LMSUT for the purpose of spatial development of urbanized territories of the sub-ject, aimed at the practical application of solving the problems of rational land use, as well as provid-ing proper management of the development of territories, which will allow to receive prompt, timely, accurate information for the purposes of planning the spatial development of territories and making management decisions. The key properties of the system of regional LMSUT, input and output flow, as well as attributes of the means of system realization are given. In conclusion, to determine the effectiveness of the regional monitoring system of urbanized territories, the author proposes to apply the principles of formation of criteria and indicators of the effectiveness of technical systems, considered in the works of leading Russian scientists. The outcome of the study are recommendations for the application of the developed organization and management system of LMSUT.
