Abstract
The effect of the additionally presented visual stimuli and driving task on the subjective evaluation of the sound inside running passenger car has been investigated through subjective evaluation test on the semantic differential method. The recorded video data and binaural sound data
were simultaneously presented to the subjects by using the headphone and the head-mounted display. As a result of the evaluation test, the subjective impression of the interior sound greatly varied depending on the visual stimuli and the driving task. Especially in the situation that the LAeq
of the interior sound is relatively low, the evaluated results are more strongly influenced by the visual stimuli and the driving task.
