A rare variant of the development of the proarrhythmogenic effect of etacizine in a child with chronic kidney disease (clinical case)

Abstract

This article describes a rare clinical case of the development of severe ventricular tachycardia while taking etacizine in a 3-year-8-month-old patient with chronic kidney disease. A clinical case demonstrates the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of class 1C antiarrhythmic drugs in pediatric patients with kidney pathology.
