Abstract
A reflection on the complexities of anti-racist self-education from within divided white communities. The task of decolonising our understanding and interventions for trauma is both daunting and filled with opportunity. The Power Threat Meaning Framework is useful in reflecting on the systemic operation of racism and sectarianism and supporting the recovery of agency and self worth. Social change efforts towards a society that can increasingly hold multiple stories will have benefits for all.
