Abstract

Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) symptoms range from diarrhea to intestinal inflammation/lesion and death and are mainly caused by two exotoxins, TcdA and TcdB. Active vaccination provides the attractive opportunity to prevent CDI and recurrence.
