Abstract

Carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales (CPE) can spread and cause outbreaks in health care facilities, resulting in increased lengths of stay and morbidity. Control of outbreaks requires epidemiological surveillance, usually based on microbiological screening and patient follow-up.
