Abstract
Thermosipho globiformans
strain MN14, a Gram-negative, heterotrophic, thermophilic bacterium, was isolated from a hydrothermal vent in the western Pacific Ocean. Here, I present the 1.9-Mb draft genome sequence of the strain, which consists of 75 contigs with 30.8% GC content and 1,900 predicted protein-coding genes.
